Senior retail crime and loss prevention specialists give presentations on how their businesses have maximised their investment in crime and loss prevention, introduced policies that have bought about significant change and worked with external bodies to improve their effectiveness in reducing crime.
This year we are refreshing the programme with a format designed to deliver more tailored and relevant content offering strategic as well as tactical solutions to retail crime. Through case studies, interviews and streamed interactive workshops, the day will address key topics including:
· Retailers discuss emerging crime trends and forthcoming security challenges
· The introduction of Police and Crime Commissioners – what does this mean for retail?
· The riots one year on – promoting more effective engagement between law enforcement agencies and retail
· The role of technology in improving operational processes and reducing shrinkage
· Moving forward to combat internal fraud collectively
· Cyber security – preparing for the future
· PLUS: The Commissioner for the Metropolitan Police will discuss the Police planned response to tackling business crime

Security and loss prevention: Where is it going?
Based on the most comprehensive survey of the security sector so far undertaken, revealing the attitudes of over 1150 security personnel to contract security and the alternatives and on their perspectives on the future of security.
